At Zipyshare, we are committed to protecting our users' privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how it is used, and how it is secured when you use our free file-sharing services.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We value anonymity. We do not require account registration, and we do not collect:

• Names, addresses, or personal phone numbers.
• Credit card or payment information.
• Tracking profiles connected to your identity.

2. Information We Do Collect

To ensure the platform functions properly and securely, we collect and store:

• Uploaded Files: The files you upload are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure for processing and distribution.
• Cryptographic Hashes: We compute the SHA-256 hash of every uploaded file. This allows us to reduce storage via deduplication and maintain our global anti-abuse blocklist.
• IP Data & System Logs: We temporarily log IP addresses and User-Agent strings to mitigate automated spam, DDoS attacks, and API abuse.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Files uploaded to Zipyshare are kept for 90 days from the date of their last download. If a file remains inactive past this threshold, it is automatically and permanently purged from our storage. You cannot manually delete a file unless it violates our Terms of Service (in which case it will be banned).

4. Analytics & Usage Data

We use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or similar services) to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Service, including the web pages you visit, add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving the Service. This analytics data is collected and used in an aggregated form such that it cannot reasonably be manipulated to identify any particular individual user.

5. Advertisements & Cookies

To keep our file-hosting services completely free, we display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense). These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are sent directly to your browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs, and may use this information to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on our site.

6. Third-Party Sharing

Except for the analytics and advertisement providers mentioned above, we do not sell or freely share your data. File hashes may be shared internally for security verification. In cases involving explicit illegal material or legally binding court orders, we will comply with law enforcement and disclose relevant access logs according to the law.
